The Maryland State Police is actively seeking active military, veterans and members of The National Guard to serve as Troopers.

As part of Maryland’s continuing commitment to our veterans, we are working to connect veterans with available services and programs. The Maryland State Police offers eligible military personnel, veterans, and their dependents the ability to utilize their GI Bill® Educational Benefits. The GI Bill® can be utilized throughout the Maryland State Police Academy, field training, and through the 16 month probationary period to follow.
