We find that approximately one in four “safe” references turn out to be less than positive, and one in three references fail to return a phone call during a reference check. As surprising as this is, we recommend identifying a problematic reference before it can ruin your chances of landing your dream job.

ERS will contact and pre-screen up to three references for you. We make up to three contact attempts for each provided reference. Afterwards, we generate a summary for each and a recommendation for inclusion in your next application.
